I started playing guitar when I was 15 and soon after formed a band called Ground Control with high school friends. We played lots of school dances, clubs, weddings and other events. Right after high school I went to the University of Minnesota for one year primarily studying music. But a year later when I was 19, I quit college on a week's notice and found myself on the road with a rock band for the next 5 years. That band was Counter Attack and the name changed midway through that time to Playground. I learned a lot in those years about the music biz.
When I was 25, I got off the road and back to college and formed a band called Paragon. We played all over the Twin Cities for many years. During that time I also worked in an original music project called Sleeping Dogs. We released a full CD...you probably have one in your collection ;)
After Paragon I immediately joined Uncle Chunk in 2003. What can I say about that...it's been so much fun and I hope to be Uncle Chunkin' for years to come.
